so i just flashed this and downloaded titanium to reinstall my stuff and it will download but doesn't show in my apps menu...... Am i doing something wrong?
 
ok well i just downloaded the free version and it allowed me to download the pro via the free version. not sure if this is normal but i'm restoring as we speak. any ideas would be great. thanks. also is there a way to save passwords for forums so i don't have to resign in after flashing a new rom? thanks,

When you flash a new ROM it's a good idea to boot into your recovery then wipe the cache, wipe data, and factory reset. It's a good idea to do this a 2-3 times.

Also make sure you are using the clockwordmod recovery 3.0.0.8/7 which is required to flash the ROM. Also you need the correct Radio and hboot to flash it otherwise it won't work.
 
Ooo - always back up everything before flashing a ROM. I use clockworkmod recovery to backup the ROM so I can always restore back to where I was. I also use titanium pro to back up the data. So I have 2 backups going on.

I did that and I have cwr 3.0.0.8. Any ideas.
 
Would it make a difference using Rom manager to flash rather than using recovery and doing it manually?
 
sounds like you restored some stuff with titanium that you shouldn't of.

check out the "titanium backup tips " in the root sticky. You don't want to restore any system data (contact info is system data). basically don't want to restore anything in green. All you really want to restore is "missing apps". Then go through and uncheck any app that is highlighted green.

You will have to reflash the rom. Do not use rom manager to install.
 
Sounds good I will reflash tonight. Although that other rom you were talking about looks pretty sweet as well. Thanks again dude.
 
ya when you do a titanium restore just do apps+data - never do system restore on a different ROM from a backup that was a different ROM. It'll crash your phone. I learned that the hard way playing with it heh.
