Just saw this [WIP][DEV][PROOF OF CONCEPT] Ninjablur TBOLT Port

If anything it is interesting. Not sure why someone would want to run blur but if you came from the DX or D2 and really miss those blur widgets then this might be something for you to check out. At this point I don't think it is anywhere near release ready but still quite impressive to see someone getting this much work done when OEM UI ports are one of the more difficult things to do with a rom.
 
I'm not sure why you would want those, but I suppose to each his own works in this statement. Right? :D
 
LOL I have been trying to figure out which I like less Sense or Blur and I am stuck. Based on this guy's video it looks like this is based on sense (he is running a Sense kernel) so I suppose this could be the worst of both worlds.
 
I am sure someone likes blur, well someone other than the guy making this rom. Still it is impressive that he is getting it ported, generally OEM UI is not easy to port to other devices. I remember when some people were trying to port sense on the og Droid and the final outcome was something along the lines of it can't be done.
 
Well, true. He is far from an idiot, he just has bad tastes. I can't believe that they can't port Sense over to another device. Is it still not possible?
 
I don't know, I think it may still be an issue but haven't really looked into in a long time, I've played with sense now and like AOSP better so even if I had a phone without sense on it I wouldn't be looking for a port.
 
the title says "proof of concept" wich makes me think he didi it for the same reason that men climb mountains ;)

i agree on all counts. i cant imagine why someone would want blur,touchwiz,socialite,sense(pretty much anything other than vanilla android :D) but it is interesting and i can appreciate the work that went into it.

that said,i prolly will flash it and run for a few hours so i can see what life would be like if i had X or bionic :eek:
