No 1080p Playback

Hi I came across this problem with A500 it's a wonderful and powerful device I was wondering why this device cannot play 1080p videos.

is there going to be a updated version where it will support 1080p playback I read somewhere on a another form said on Honeycomb 3.1 will support 1080p playback is this true?

Has anyone got 1080p videos to work on this device?

I found this I'm going to try this out when I get off of work Hopely it will work with the Avatar Video that is 1080p Quality video....
