NO 32GB on BIG RED??

I did erase it after I realized I did not check the facts first. I am trying to hold onto what hope I can here.

Yeah, this is the link to the UK version below here. Someone noted earlier that it was updated to read 16/32 on this UK version, so maybe Google made a mistake and updated the wrong site. Now, both the UK and the US versions of these pages only say 16GB. Doesn't seem like a mistake to me - or else they would have fixed it by now, since they appear to be actively and deliberately making updates today. There's a good chance they've made a decisions to launch in the US with a 16GB version as well - and roll out the 32 later.

Only kicker is when has VZW ever got the higher end version of any Samsung device? They have not and the other carriers get the better versions (more flash). Though the 32gb version may pan out, history of VZW choices with Samsung is not a good trend to go by for it.

What is your sample size you're going off of referring to Verizon getting low end Samsung devices? I'm assuming the LTE version is their upgraded version and therefore the one with 32gb. Besides, i think this is more of a negotiation between Google and Verizon than Samsung and Verizon.

I might still get it if it's 16, but I will wait for the price to drop or until it shows on Amazon or another site for peanuts. No way I'm dropping $299 and a 2 yr contract for the 16 version...

How about a link in your post so people know what your talking about?

I'll believe it when I see it. At this point, rumors are running way too rampantly for me to believe anything now. This is the most anticipated Android phone this year, so people are going to read way too into things and tip off news sites about every little thing, just so they make it into the news.

I wouldn't start rioting about it yet. I have a hard time believing the would be restricted to selling just the 16 GB version on Verizon. If they did though, they better not be trying to sell it for $300. $200 would be more in line with the 16 GB iPhone 4S. LTE be damned.

No way I'm paying full retail for 16, not when I have the memory I have on my Charge. I would be down grading in this regard. Man...I'm soooo disappointed if this holds true.

I say we flood google legal department with this! lol. I couldnt find any email contact to send my concerns, so its the legal department that will get flooded.

When is it "unlawful" for a phone company to release a phone with as many or as few features as THEY want? Against our better wishes: yes. Against the LAW?

EDIT: Besides, Rob & Phases have already had a huge discussion with us about flooding anybody with letters.

It was a joke, that will hopefully open up google's eyes. Don't get your panties in a wad.

It was tweeted by P3droid that the Verizon us version is 32 gb. The version he had was a developer test phone that was only 16gb

If the 16gb on the google website was a typo, I believe it would have been fixed by now. I most certainly hope I am wrong though! Maybe I can enforce Murphey's law. I will spout that it will definitely be only 16gb enough times and it will end up being 32gb!! =)

Tbrindisi, with things as tense as they are over the non-release of this phone, it's hard to distinguish what's a joke and what's not. Scuse me for erring on the side of caution... I'd hate to get locked down AGAIN.

Maybe some of us WANT them twisted into a wad :p

Oh hey! Check out both of these links for the GSM and CDMA/LTE version; even the GSM/HSPA+ specs only say 16 GBs! So that leads me to believe that we're blowing this out of proportion since there most definitely is a 32 GB GSM version even though it's not annotated on Google's own spec page.

So, if anything, this may mean that Verizon may sell both varients at different price points. :D

It's google screwing with verizon for botching this whole release!
That would actually be awesome if this was Google's idea to create this huge uproar, indirectly twisting Verizon's arm into making the specs/release date official.

Google has got to be pissed that Verizon is keeping such a tight lid on this thing, but Google certainly doesn't want to burn any bridges either.

PS - I still think Verizon is getting a 32GB model. $299 for a 16GB would make this almost a waste of shelf space, since the average consumer has no idea what "Nexus" means. What normal consumer would pick this over the Rezound if they were sitting side-by-side for the same price in a Verizon store?

As much back and forth as I have had between the g'nex and the d'razr if Verizon puts a $300 price on a 16GB phone, with no SD slot, my choice will have been made for me.

bout time I made up my mind.

I agree, a 16gb phone for 300 with contract would make it really easy to decline the Galaxy Nexus. I started out extremely excited for the GNexus and it seems everyday Verizon does something to lower the excitement.

I've had it with verizon already! I went out and got the Razr today! Couldn't wait anymore! Plus my man Sean76 seems to love his Razr....

You've had it with Verizon, so you bought the crappier phone with full Verizon bloat that they're trying to sucker as many people as possible into buying instead of the Nexus?

Doesn't make sense.

How is it crappier? Runs fast, has plenty of space options (without relying on cloud). Device is far better than I expected and it is actually out for purchase.

Even the battery is doing better than expected. As far as ICS, I like having Flash and do not like using cut down resolution, converted Skyfire versions of Flash sites (the ones that actually work using Skyfire).

Seems the chance of having the 16gb version (13gb for apps and media combined), potential battery life issues, no Flash and a little VZW bloat is starting to get to some folks.
