no 3g and mms working on slim rom

I downloaded slim rom and cannot get my 3g network or picture messages to work. Ive tried different modems and reinstalls of rom with no luck. I want to try this rom but with no internet or mms its a no go. Any suggestions I will try or report back if ive already tried suggestion.

Im running 5.3 slim rom. I did get 3g after using cwm to flash fl24 modem instead of using mobileODIN. I believe mobile odin wasnt working. I am however still not able to send/recieve picture messages.

The only reason I ask is the way you install the 5.3 version is you have to install the 5.0 first, wipe partition cache, wipe dalvik cache and then run the 5.3 zip, both in either TRWP or CWM and like you said install modem from recovery also. Also there is a few people having issues with mms working on AOSP roms, check this link out on xda and there is a slim mms fix at the bottom of the first thread.

I have just changed the modem to el26. both modems allow me to have 3g and regular texting but now i can recieve a picture message but not send. it says it sent with the time next to the message but it doenst come thru on my wifes phone. I did recieve a picture message from her phone though. weird!

It maybe the network, it wouldnt be the first time with boost lol, it use to happen to my warp all the time lol

I installed 5.3 without 5.0 first...worked fine other then the same old speakphone issue - but i had that issue in 5.0 as well

Sometimes a SMS or MMS gets "lost in the fog" so to speak. I have had ones that turn up on the recipient's phone a couple days after sent.
