My pet peeve is coming to this thread, expecting exciting news on 4.3 for our N2 and seeing grammar lessons....![]()
You might as well learn something useful while you're wasting time here....
Are they rolling this update out one handest at a time or something?
Doesn't sound like many of us have seen it yet.
My pet hate is 'brought' instead of bought, damn thats annoying!
Thanks for that heat57 I am still on the fence with using custom roms atm but very tempted.
. I'm using The Ditto DN3 Note ROM, which has (probably) most of the Note 3 goodies ported and included. I have also flashed Wanam's Xposed framework mod, which gives in-call recording, notification bar mods, different battery icon and colour and many more useful things that the Samsung ROM just doesn't have. It's currently the only one with a fully working Note 3 port and no fc's or random reboots; its very fast and stable. Only issue I had was loss of Wifi but there is a simply flash to fix that too. Love it!My pet peeve is coming to this thread, expecting exciting news on 4.3 for our N2 and seeing grammar lessons....![]()

Can't seem to find google framework services?
had no update today... then i read a post on another board to do this:
"the standard trick is to go into your App Manager under Running Apps and find Google Framework Services. Clear the data and force stop the app, then go into About Phone and try the software update button again. Not guaranteed to work but it does works for a lot of people."
worked like a charm... i am now in the process of downloading the update.... and not gonna lie i am scared lol
Can't seem to find google framework services?
Hope everything works out OK

Hmmm... interesting, I guess it depends on the carrier. I have Telus and didn't need to go through all that. Just check manually for the update and it's there. No fiddling necessary to get it to download or work. Tried it with my brother's Note 2 as well. Manual check and it's there.
But in all honesty, I do not like what Samsung did with 4.3. It feels like they took more away with this update than added...![]()
1) Swipe with secure lock (ie. PIN); allowing user to have shortcuts and effects on swipe unlock while still keeping a secure lock underneathbtw, I am not very familiar with all the added/removed features... so, what did they take away??
Daydream is basically a screen saver nothing more. So you're not missing much there.I see there are some new things that I don't know what to do with... like "daydreaming"... and we are able to now put a message on the home screen... but hte clock now isnt centred so i dont like it

2) S Pen customization with default Samsung keyboard (change from stroke/complete recognition, recognition time, stroke thickness, ink colour)
3) S Voice customization (change the 'Hi Galaxy' command)

I can't do anything with the personal message. Seriously, I can't have both personal message and owner information on the screen? Also I tried to use "Learn Something New Everyday" as my message. But it only displays as "Learn Something New Eve"... different meaning altogether.
