Help No 4G On Esteem

I noticed yesterday that I wasn't able to get any 4g data on mine or my wife's esteem . They are both running #2 2.4 with the latest prl 3031 .I can make calls, send texts & get data over wifi no problem. I tried a battery pull , a reset , I even called Metro & they tried reprogramming , with no luck. the only thing I haven't tried is wiping & reflashing. I'm in the Central Florida area & have never had a problem like this before. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance :)
 
Its most likely just metro doing work.....Yes I know you said you called metro but trust me.,..Metro employees dont know jack squat..Case in point, I had an employee tell me the Connect could talk and surf the web because, and I quote, "Because it has a dual core processor" Ahaha .....Just wait it out and see,,,,Also dont know where you are but Im in Palm Bay in Brevard county and we had some bad storms roll thru all day yesterday so that could be it too.
 
Thanks for the quick reply, I'm In Orlando . I'm mostly on wifi but my wife uses her phone on 4g alot , especially the gps. I'm hoping it's just work being done like you said. The rep told me to check tomorrow if not it could take up to 5 days to come now that they have my work order. LOL
 
ok yea joshua txt me a while back hes in kissimmee florida and told me the same thing the 4g icon shows but no data he now is just using his 3g data instead.
 
yea its no prob u know what who knows if your area might be the next area with 7-9 mbps like new york cuz of all this down time perhaps just upgrading their spectrum?

That would be sweet. Especially with a certain phone coming out soon.

It's funny you say that. I am in Tampa and was told the exact same thing about the dual core and calling/surfing when I went to their corporate store. Either it's true or they're all told it's true in training.

I will also mention that I personally have stayed on 3026 in Tampa. I lost 4g constantly with 3030 and 3029. I still haven't tried 3031 because of how well 3026 works for me.

It's got nothing to do with the processor :D its the radios are volte compatible
 
That's why when I see people on forums that claim to be dealers and they say their info is reliable I laugh there's one on the howardforums which did that mistake he claimed that he had a meeting with branches of his store and that they were told the lightray was coming out with same specs as the galaxy a 2 and I laughed cuz we all knew the specs already and he was trying to say other wise...... Epic so yea dealers never tell people that your a dealer and that your info is reliable cuz it ain't gonna end well lol
 
Woke up this morning & 4g is back (hopefully it will stay). Ran a couple speed tests.
