Help No alerts with Bluetooth Headset

Hello. I am new to Android. With my iphone and Plantronics Pro + I would hear email and sms alerts in the Pro +. With my Photon I can hear music and phone calls but no alerts.

Any ideas?

i dunno, but when i am listening to music it cuts out for alerts....

i think there is a program.....hummmm maybe thats just for my headphone...its a moto to....

but its suppose to let you listen to messages, it transcribes them i think....

i just havent dl it yet

Yeah I got the notification sounds through my bt headphones on my evo so it's not an android issue. I miss it, but as previous poster said, the music cuts out for a moment so at least there's that.
