Help No backlight/touchscreen doesnt work

Hi I need some help after waking up late due to my alarm not going off I looked at my phone and nothing, however iv since noticed that under direct light with the phone at an angle I can faintly see the screen however the touchscreen doesnt work so i cannot do anything with it. I removed the battery and restarted and ts the same I can just about see the start up screen, the jingles are heard as normal but the screen just looks black, has anyone had a similar problem or know what i can do to fix this....or is it just FUBARed

Hello and welcome to the forums - sorry that no-one has replied up until now!!

It doesn't sound great... I would imagine that this would probably be a repair job. Just to check, but you haven't dropped your phone/it hasn't got any water damage has it? How long have you had the phone? It could be a warrantee repair or, if not that, it could be an insurance claim.

Hi did you manage to get your phone fixed because i have exactly the same problem! i dont know whats wrong with it and every repair shop tells me something different!
