Help No Calls/Text

Hi

For some reason my S3 wont take make/take calls/texts...the weird thing is that it gets a 3G/H signal, and i can surf the net with it, but no 2G. Ive changed SIM cards and my SIM works, while putting another network SIM in my phone gives the same result. Even tried a Factory Reset and still no joy

Any ideas?

First thing I'd do is give the company who is providing your service a call

Am with Vodafone, they say its a problem with the phone, Im thinking hardware since a factory reset didnt help matters

Yeah if the sim works ok in another phone then its not a Voda problem. Did it ever work?

yeah worked fine for months! had the phone since July 12

Try Settings -> More (under Wireless and Networks) -> Mobile networks -> System select -> Automatic

Also, under Data Roaming, check the box if the above doesn't work
