Hi all,
I bought a used myTouch 3G and got it unlocked using a code from ebay (after giving the guy my IMEI). I've tried to use it with 2 different SIM cards in Europe and in both cases, the phone usually get some coverage/service when it first boots up, but loses it very shortly thereafter (like in 10min or less). There's no data or voice signal at all. I have another myTouch 3G (also unlocked, but got the code from t-mobile) and it works fine with both of those SIM cards and both in Spain and Bulgaria, which is where the SIM cards are from, respectively. So it's not a roaming issue, it's not a config issue, and it's not a SIM card issue.

The phone originally had Android 1.6 on it, but I upgraded to 2.2... but it still has the same issue. All stock firmware. So it's probably not the software either.

WiFi doesn't work either (shows that it's connected, but it's not really - you can't transfer any data over that connection).

Any ideas about what it could be? At this point it seems to me like it's probably a hardware issue. Maybe there's something loose in there... like maybe the antenna? What do you guys think? Could it be a software or config problem?
