No Cell service following Update

I accepted the pushed update last night and all seemed fine following. This morning I sent a couple of texts only to receive a message that they were pending being sent. I thought nothing about it until my son called my wife asking if all was okay on our end. He had text and called my phone with no response. I checked my phone and my texts were still pending and then I noticed I had no cell service. I had internet service but that was through my local network. I rebooted the phone with zero resolve. I then put my phone into airplane mode and then took it out of airplane mode. A flood of texts flowed in and a number of missed calls and voice mail.
I don't know why the update messed up my phone but the fix was easy enough. I hope my phone was an isolated case but if not... switching to airplane mode and back is the fix.

Hello, I just did this for my A32 5G & its still telling me the phone is not registered to the network. Very similar situation as wit yours, except I ended up doing a factory reset & the issue still was not resolved. I bought this phone only a few weeks ago & it was working fine up until this morning.

thank for posting your solution. probably was a glitch in the installation of the update. i'm glad it resolved itself.

lets discuss your issue in your own thread. its better to have one conversation vs spreading the conversation all over the place.
