Help No cell signal at home. The computer starts ringing?

I have google voice in my Gmail and if i leave it up on the screen and my G2 loses signal my computer starts ringing ( when receiving calls to my cell number not my google voice number). Didn't know if this was normal or if it was a setting I changed somewhere. Kinda cool considering my phone gets hardly any service at home and until they get wifi/UMA calling on the G2 this might just work.

I had this issue when I enabled Bluetooth from the phone to the computer. Possibly for you too?

There's an advanced setting in google voice to tell it to ring your other phones (Including your PC) before the phone goes to VM.

Since this post is from OCT, hopefully you got the OTA update that enabled the wifi calling. I use it at my parent's house as I have very poor signal there and it works great.
