Root No charge/Dead Phone...Help

I was given an Atrix 2 yesterday and i believe the owner was trying to flash sbf via RSDlite or whatever is called and messed up in the process i believe it was due to the battery being low in the process and it shut off on him. Now the phone wont turn on and i get no light either when connected str8 to a wall outlet. I do get a white light when i connect to pc and that's about it. Any suggestions to bring it back to life? I'm not sure either on the button combos to go into fastboot, etc...

I'm new to the Atrix 2 (Switching from a Triumph)

Do you have a spare fully charged battery, or an external charger for it?

If you remove the battery, hold power for 30 secs, replace battery then plug in... does that do anything different?

Sorry I am not more knowledgeable about it at the moment. Hopefully I will be able to get my feet wet quick, and help out around here. My phone should arrive tomorrow.

Nothing so far with the original battery, i did ordered a new one it should be arriving some time today or latest tomorrow.

i Also tried using a universal charger to charge it and nothing when i plug it in.

The new battery should take care of you.

The shipper of my phone didnt know to remove the battery, so when I got it it was completely dead.

I plugged it in for an hour to no avail. Eventually I used a rubber band and my old triumph external charger to get some juice into the battery. Once I got it to power on, it has been charging no problem from my wall charger.

For anyone else that stumbles across this, if you have an old USB cable to sacrifice, I read that you can bear the red and black wires.. press them into the battery terminals and charge for a while that way to get you going again. BEWARE... A wrong move could cause issues that I can't be held responsible for.

After the battery came in i still got nothing, and to the wire jumping suggestion ..tried it already and nothing either.

Edit: Motorola has agreed to send me a new battery free of charge, lets see if that one will get the phone booting.

Sorry for the delay, but the new battery sent in by Motorola did not revive the phone, i still have it just in case some help surface's.
