No/choppy sound at higher volume

Hello, i just got my LTE last night. Worked fine until a few hours into it and all of a sudden there is no sound coming out of the speaker ( not the earpiece). Any music, ringers played at a volume past about 30 percent plays no sound.

Plays fine at a lower volume but as i move the volume up it starts to cut out and then nothing. I tried rebooting and all that and still nothing.

Looks like i will be going back to sprint store this morn as soon as it opens.

Anyone else run across this?
 
could be something software related since you stayed up all night to set it up.

i would do a factory reset first. That is what sprint will do. if that does not solve it they will then issue a replacement. they will not take the unit apart.

and not to derail this thread, the return period starts on day one of activation, so you have 13 days from activated phone to return. please read your sale receipt.

Great info, thanks. I will probably just have Sprint do the reset to avoid issues.
