Root no data connectivity

Which ROM are you using and did you just flash rom. If just flashed rom, sometimes it may help to wipe again, then reflash rom. JMO but HTH some -

Note: would help others greatly if always put little more info on which rom...etc. :)

I flashed and reflashed between sense and cm7 3 times, it was working at first then went out after i flashed stagefright and never worked again even after the reflashes. wifi is connected but it wont work along with metro data?
 
Just small suggestion Did you check your settings/about phone/status, what phone info does it show there? - but actually Undecova would be able to better help you;)
 
What kernel are you running?

You have me stumped honestly. The only thing I can think of that could affect wifi data is the kernel...
 
Sometimes on Reppards CM7 my phone will switch in and out of airplane mode on its own. Usually when my phone is idle.

Yes, now that I remember, the airplane on mode also happened to me before - would be good to know if that was it.
 
yeah i disable the notification widgets.. to easy to accidentally turn things on and off.. airplane mode is on there by default i think.. happened to my girl.. she accidentally put it in airplane mode once.. was gettin pissed at her phone.. nothing would work.. then she figured it out.. lol
 
it was not in airplane mode believe me i checked =] but i did finally get it to work, i figured out that the wifi i was connected to was causing the problem. I connected to a different one and it worked like a charm
