Root No data signal

So I rooted and installed clockwork, made a back up of the stock rom. I have tried CM7, marvelous V2 rom and neither one will let me use data at all. I get no data icon on the screen what so ever. I have signal where i live as the stock rom works fine,

Any idea on how to fix this? WOuld be great if I had data working. I can send receive texts and calls but just no 3g at all

Are you saying that under Settings > Wireless & network settings you have no Mobile networks options or it won't let you enable data?
