Help No "Days to Sync E-Mail" Option for Gmail

Hi,

I just got the LG G3 and have setup a number of email accounts to sync. My work exchange and yahoo accounts are working correctly in that they pull the most recent messages. However my gmail account is trying to sync all messages from the time I opened that email account back in 2011.

What's worse is while the other accounts seem to be able to sync hundreds of messages within a few seconds the gmail sync does 4 or 5 ever few minutes. At this rate I'll have my current messages sometime in 2015.

I've looked at the settings for each account and while my Yahoo and work accounts have a "Days to Sync E-Mail" option, which seems to control how far in the past messages should be synced, the gmail account does not have this option.

Any ideas what's going on?

Uhhhh.....

I'm using the native email client. I should also point out that I have not yet activated the SIM card and am currently only using over WiFi at the moment. Not sure why that would matter given that the other email accounts seem to offer this Days to Sync option.

That explains it (at least comparing our experiences). I am (and assumed you were) using the Gmail app for my Gmail.
