I apologize in advance if I am posting this in the wrong place.
Just bought myself a european desire. Yes I know 3g will not work with t-mobile USA. But edge should be working and it is not. I can only get data through wifi.
Come to find out I had nothing in APN so with customer support we filled in the blanks.
Name t-mobile US
APN epc.tmobile.com
MMSC http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/
APN type default,supl,admin,dun
Left everything else blank but a few fields were filled in automaticly from t-mobile.
One other thing I noticed was in setup>wireless & networks under Mobile network ( not under mobile networks where you can set up an apn) when you click on the gray box to place a green check to indicate data is on. It always says turning on and the line stays grayed out. when I turn on wifi it then says use phone for data connection when wifi is unavailable. wondering if something is physically wrong with my phone?
