No email widget

I see a Gmail widget but no Email widget. Seems like a lot of people are experiencing this. Anyone have a suggestion for a replacement?
 
If some of them come with the widget, and some OF THE SAME MODEL NUMBER come without it, the "replacement" I'd suggest is your phone. That's a manufacturing defect if I ever saw one, so it should be covered under warranty.

If certain models just don't have the widget, installing the email app from the Play store may install the widget.
 
No mail widget on the T-Mobile M8 either. I wouldn't use it, but, seems odd that one isn't available nonetheless.
 
It's like they stripped it out when they added Sense 6... I'll look for a replacement I suppose. The perks of Android :)
 
It appears some of the carrier specific devices have different pre-installed apps and widgets. Call your provider and check to see if it's included in their stock software. No need to replace a functioning device if there's just an .apk missing. More than likely you can get a copy of that .apk and install it.

I'm mobile, so give me a few to see if I can locate one. :)
