Is anyone NOT going to do the official 2.2 upgrade and staying with a custom ROM? Then... why? What should it offer that the most current ROMs don't already? Stability? Thanks

Nope. This time I will say no to the OTA.

My current rom, PepperKake v3.5.2 (Thanks Jellette) is working flawlessly.

No need to accept the update.

as for the differences, No clue.

I'll wait for a ROM built of the system dump from the OTA update. But there is no way I will run whatever it is they are pushing out just to satiate the masses. It won't be as good. Besides... I don't like touchwiz.

Same here. I’ve been reading about people flashing back to stock in order to checkout the update, but I will not do it. I do not know specifically what the differences will be, but I already have froyo via custom ROM and have no interest in rerooting, eliminating bloatware, re-customizing, etc. when I ultimately decide (again) that a custom ROM is what I desire. Rooting and flashing a custom ROM offers maximum customization and developers are very good about filling in gaps (features and utilities) left by stock.
