Help No gmail notifications after update

I am rooted and on Jelly Beans.
Phone was latest OTA updated yesterday.
Now, gmail notifications do not show on notifications bar at the top. Corporate MS Exchange email shows, gmail does not. I have to physically load accounts every time and force synch emails.
Ideas?

I was having an issue SIMILAR to this, no GMail notifications. Try going into GMail>settings>your email account> and make sure Priority Inbox is unchecked. For some reason when I checked mine I was getting no notifications. I unchecked it and now they push through. I hope this helps.

I simply deleted and re-added same accounts and it all works fine now.
