Help No Gmail

Hi guys
I can't use gmail on my Nexus 7. It keeps saying "no connection, retry", even though the WiFi is on and all other internet access is fine. Any ideas?

Do other Google apps work fine?
Are you on stock ROM or custom? If custom, try reflashing gapps again.

Have you tried Force Closing the app, or rebooting the device?

Hello. All working ok now. I did read reports of other people having the same problem so it seems to have been a fault at Google's end. Anyway I appreciate your reply. Thank you.
