Root No google account after ROM?

I've exhausted the normal fixes and noob solutions. After loading Kangerade 4.0.7 I don't have any access to my google account; no gmail. no contacts. Option to add account in gmail app is a blank screen. Short of loading my backup i'm stumped. thoughts? thanks so much
 
Did you perform a full data wipe before installing the ROM? I haven't messed with kangerade personally, but most of my full wipe/installs have involved logging into my google account on the initial boot, just like you did when you first got the phone. Were you prompted to do so after the install? That's my first thought, let's go from there.
 
Thanks meekrab, I just finished a full wipe and I'm back to having a google account. It was weird, the initial install didn't prompt for account setup. After the second wipe it took. So the lesson is: wipe early and often.
