Help No google play

Hi all

I recieved my sensation today. yay! A replacement for my dead desire. It is used from ebay but in great condition. It is unbranded so my 3 sim went straight in with no worries. The only issue i can see is that it is still running the market. I cant find a way of updating to google play. Any ideas?

I have the stock ROM (although rooted) and still have the ancient market; I think it's 3 or 4 versions away from Google Play. How do I force an update and why isn't it updating itself??

Go to Settings > App > All Apps > Market Updater, clear the cache and Force Close it.

Do the same with the Market.

Hopefully then it should update, if not then search for the Google Play .apk (3.5.15) online and install the file.

Hi, I have the same problem the thread starter had.

The thing is that the market updater is not even open in the first place, how do i force start it?
