Help No Green Connection when using 3G

I've had the phone for a month basically, 3 days ago i recharged with a virgin 19 dollar your cap prepaid. this has 1024 mb of included data. i use msn a lot on the phone and after recharging i wasn't able to connect to it. at this time i noticed that instead of the usual green connection that i have it is now white. the data sync thing with the circle made out of arrows also appeared but disappeared a short while later. basically my question is. why did the colouring of my connection change, and how can i get it back? These are the application things i can no longer connect to

i can still use the browser without problem. thanks for reading
-edit- when using my home wireless i can connect to the market and apps and the connection is green.

Take a look at your configured APNs and check if the used one isn't one for WAP (an older/lighter protocol that onyl works on browser because, well, mobile phones had only a WAP browser some years ago)

Try to configure an APN for full mobile internet of your carrier (Virgin). You can find it on internet, carrier's website, apps that configure APNs or even receive messages from your carrier to set up mobile internet.

im using internet (virgin internet) not the WAP option. not changing anything :/

i think it was just a problem recently lol. tried to connect again now its green. i havent cahnged any options either. problem fixed. thanks for the help :
