No hands dialing telephone number

Is it possible to have the HTC One x+ dial a telephone just from my voice input? (i.e. "Dial ----------) My attempts at doing this only brought up a list of possible number matches for me to choose from and dial from the keyboard.

I have no intention of doing this in a motor vehicle!
 
Pretty sure that the google now will identify its likely match and begin a count down at which point it will auto dial.

I do not want to conflict this conversation, but my HTC 1 X + does auto dial when I use the google search bar.

1.) I click the google microphone
2.) Dial "Muqtar, mobile"
3.) It presents the contact of Muqtar and a countdown of 5 seconds begins at which point it dials.

The phone is capable of doing it stock.
 
It appears that I was doing something incorrectly when I attempted to dial by voice - I was saying "call" instead of "dial" and not specifying whether it was a "work," "mobile" or "other."

I am very grateful that you took the time to put me on the right track instead of abandoning me back to my state of ignorance. That is what forums should be doing - helping one another with issues that are not clear.

For the record...

"Call Muqtar... mobile"

Works also. Must be the designation of which number you want to call.
