Help No Home Screen

So I have been having problems with the ROM I had installed on my Rooted Droid X. I used Bootloader Recovery, to so a Factory Reset/Data Wipe. Everything Completed, went back and signed in via Google, finished Synching, and now I have no home screen.

I know there is a way to get back to the boot load via the keys on my phone (Pushed in a certain sequence) I just cant remember the button combination.

Im going to try Factory Resetting again, but really, I want to wipe the entire phone...it kept my SD card and my Bootloader settings. Is there a way to do a hard restart and start from complete scratch? So that I may root it from scratch and try a different ROM?

Edit, by Bootloader, I mean it still starts up Clockwork Recovery. Basically I dont want it to because I want to do a TRUE Factory Reset...I dont want anything left on my phone, so that I may start from scratch.

2nd Edit. I used the Clockwork Recovery to wipe everything...and now I cant get past the Motorola Screen. Any ideas? Is there something I can do by hooking it up to the PC? Or did I just royally F my DX in the A?

3rd Update. I tried literally everything. Because I couldnt get past the Motorola Screen means my computer didnt recognize my phone as a Drive, so I Couldnt Upload to my SD Card. However, I did happen to have a USB/Micro SD Card reader, so I was able to get Update.Zip on there. Getting to the Bootloader, and running Update.Zip....nothing. My phone was bricked.

P.S.....NONE of this happened until AFTER I tried to run the updated OS my phone said I had waiting....well...apparently when you update your OS when you are Rooted...it doesn't like it.

However, Verizon is amazing, and I have another Droid X on its way. It will be here tomorrow and I didn't have to pay a dime. This will NEVER happen again, and if anyone has any tips, I'm all ears.
