Help No icons on launcher when I press Home

Most of the time if I run an application, and wanted to go on the Home screen, I get no icons on the launcher. It will take like 20-30 seconds before the icons will show up. I tried installing different launchers like ADWLauncher and LauncherPRO but still it has the same problem. I tried updating my 2.1 to 2.2.1 and I'm using Cyanogen 6.1 for Milestone and still the same. Is there a fix for this? Or am I stucked with this problem? Thanks

The launcher might have forced closed. The icons dont' come back after a few seconds when the launcher app is launched again?

I was experimenting and found out that its the folders that's causing the problem. I deleted the folder with games shortcuts in it. The launcher rarely restarts and if it did, it only takes like 3 seconds before all icons show up again.
