Yes, I know others have done similar/the same thing but I thought I'd share a photo of my device on my "homemade dock". Having this at my desk at work is awesome!

Share your homemade docks as well if you have em!

Cheap and it does what I want it to when I want it to. :D

Sorry, couldn't help it.

what is launcher pro if you don't mind me asking because this is my first android phone

Exactly what AndreaCristiano said. If you download one of the launchers from the market, you can customize your dock and other various features. The one thing that you will lose is the ability to have any of the HTC sense widgets on your desktop. If you use/like the stock weather clock widget that came on the phone, you will no longer be able to use this with Launcher Pro or any of the other launchers. When you go back to the stock HTC sense launcher it will be there.

For me, the customization of another launcher far outweighs the negatives of not being able to use HTC sense.

My question though is, if you replace Sense, does HTC Sync still work??? I absolutely LOVE to use HTC Sync.

It will still work fine if you go back to it. It will remember your desktop layout and everything. If you want to go back just simply uninstall launcher pro.

What I meant was, can I use the HTC Sync application on my computer to sync the contents. I guess it would work. It probably doesn't with a rooted phone though does it?? Probably should ask that over at XDA. :D

Yeah, sorry, I don't know the answer to that one. I haven't used HTC Sync.

i have the same with ADW EX

Have you experienced FCs? When I use ADW EX it force closes an awful lot. Granted, I use A LOT of widgets, but no other launcher has trouble with the exact same setup. The developer told me that I'd just have to use less widgets (or find the one that causes the problem), but if no other launcher experiences the problem with the EXACT setup, the problem seems to lie with the launcher itself. Thoughts?

It's a shame, because I think ADW EX is by far the best launcher available. I'm forced to settle for something else .
