Help No Landscape mode for Home Screen and App screen ?

Just came here to say that on 2 separate occasions my Nexus S (2.3.4) has "glitched" into landscape mode on the home screen.

Today, when I was using Google Reader, suddenly Car Home launched by itself. When I touched "Exit car mode" I was brought back to the home screen in landscape mode. There was the little Car Home icon on the top left with 2 small red bars beside it. I'm not sure what that means. After a screen lock and unlock, the home screen was back to portrait.

I would take a screen shot, but I'm not sure how on an android. I didn't have another camera handy when it happened, but I'll try to get a shot next time it does.

That picture does not look like the EVO 3D, look at the buttons at the bottom, if the phone was turned in landscape mode you would not see the buttons, they would be to the right and not the bottom, so I don't what picture they are showing here.

My DX used to glitch into landscape, too. Then I installed a mod that would do it automatically. It was cool at first, but drove me nuts afterwards. It also caused the phone to slow down and eventually crash/lock up.

Now if the 3vo went into landscape when connected to a dock only, that'd be fine. But not when I rotate the phone.

Is there any way to rotate the home screen on the EVO 3D? I am using a horizontal mount when in the car and would like the screen to rotate so it can be read easier.

Use another home launcher, like GO Launcher EX - allows auto rotation and Home Switcher to alternate between homes.
