Help no lte icon

I just got a vivid great phone by the way, it came with ics pre loaded my question is I thought the LTE letters go under the 4g when in LTE area ...I

Are you sure, because I live in an LTE city, and I don't get the letters ever, however, I always have the 4g icon going.

So if u don't see it, r u really catching it? I had the LTE icon while traveling, so I know it exists.

I live just outside an LTE area (Austin). When I get in the city I DO have the LTE symbol. When I am not in a LTE area, it just says 4G. You may want to double check the coverage map to make sure your physical location is within the ACTUAL LTE coverage area.

I have never seend the LTE under the 4G icon. Things that make you go...hmmmmm
