My HTC Eris doesn't have a market app. I'm not sure where it went buts its gone, how can I get it back? I tried doing a factory reset and when I went to sync a google account it always says force close.

Well, you've already posted here: http://androidforums.com/htc-droid-eris/305510-eris-help.html that you downloaded a ROM in ROM Manager - I assume that you tried to install it from there as well - so that's probably how you lost the market app.
But, perhaps (back in that other thread) you can tell us exactly what it is you did with ROM Manager when you downloaded the ROM?
