Root no market on cyanogenmod help!!!

I recently downloaded and installed the cyanogen rom the newest stable version and there is no market therefore I can't reinstall titanium backup... therefore I can't get back my info... please someone help me I went to the market online and wont let download titanium backup because it says its already installed... help please.

Cyanogenmod, and other AOSP ROMs don't come with the Google apps (gapps) installed automatically. You need to flash them separately. You can get it here. Let me know if you can't figure out which one to flash.

Well I used rom manager and when I dled the rom it asked me if I wanted to dl the Google apps package and I did... so it should be on my phone just wondering why it maybe didn't install... and ill check out and flash them in I guess

Interesting. I suppose it didn't flash it. Well, no matter. Just grab the right one from that link, then flash it from recovery manually. Do you need instructions on that?

im having a similar problem, I flashed the newest gapps from that link for CM7 but all it seems to have added is the market. How do I log into the gmail account?

When you try and access the market, it should require you to log into your Gmail. Otherwise go to settings> accounts & Sync and add your gmail account there.

I'm having the same issue. I flashed the Cyanogen7 gapps but I'm still not getting the market. Additionally when I try to sync my account I get a failure to open secure connection error.
