Help No metadata over Bluetooth

I stream audio over bluetooth in my car. With my HTC One (M7), I would have Artist, Album, Track Name, etc. show up on the display of my radio. Now with the LG G3, I don't.

Anybody else experience this? Is there a fix for it?

I am interested in a possible solution to this as well. I do not have any information on my car display either. But, a couple times when I got a Facebook notification, the display would say "Facebook Pop" as the "song", and Facebook as the "artist" for the notification sound....smh.

This seems to be a common issue with newer phones. I have an M8 and had the same issues. About two weeks after I had the phone an update was sent to it and fixed the issues. Hopefully you will receive an update soon.

Anyone else having this issue? Is there really no solution for it? I like this phone, but damn, even the iPhone 4 showed the track info through BT.

I have a non factory Pioneer X6600BT stereo system installed in the 4 runner and it shows all information for music played and who is calling and how many minutes I am on the phone call. But it does not show text..

In the Sienna, it shows only once when it is connected what it is playing and goes back to menu. However when I get a phone call, it shows who is calling and when I receive a text (not viber and not google voice) it can read the text out for me and let me reply by voice by press of a button..

Which tells me it is not the phone and it is the device you are connecting to.
