No Milestone 3... lets unlock droid 3 instead

G~JOOSE

I've waited a while to post this hoping that Moto would release the third iteration of the milestone. Well they ain't apparently, so I was wondering seeing that they have a global version of the droid 3, if it was possible to unlock it for international sim cards.

I see this can be done with the iphone so I'm persuaded to believe that it is possible to do the same on the droid 3. Do anyone have some sort of information on this?

Yea, i just bought mine from the states (i live in sweden) and it works great. Just make sure u buy an unlocked one

They dont, you'll have to buy from a seller that has unlocked it for you. I'm not sure if it works with a locked phone

I bought an unlocked Verizon phone from eBay and it's working great in Canada. Just make sure the model you get is compatible with the network in your area - there are slight variations between different Droid 3's.

Unlocked Droid 3s can be used anywhere outside the US without an issue, however, an unlocked Droid 3 can't be used in the US on AT&T or T-Mobile. I hope TBH or another generous developer can get the D3 working on AT&T/T-Mobile. That'd be awesome! :D

Hi, I also have Droid3 from US and I live in Poland...
But I find a signal Issue... On my Milestone I have full signal range and with Droid 3 I have still coverage problems... one or two bars... Do You have this kind of problems??? ;/

What about the droid 3 that was recently released in Canada? The "XT 860" is all they are calling it. Can THAT version be unlocked and used on AT&T? I can't find any answers to this question.
