Help No mobile data on AT&T

I Really hope someone can help. I am in the US and I just bought a Galaxy S2 from someone. I see all over the internet that AT&T works fine with it. And I have no problem making calls, sending texts, or connecting through Wifi. But for some reason I can't connect to the internet through edge or 3g or 4g. How have people got that working? What are your network settings? please help i feel like i wasted 600 bucks

Apologies if I am stating the obvious but have you checked "use packet data" under settings/wireless and network/mobile networks?

Yes I have. Thank you though. If i go to settings it states on am on edge but i can't access internet without wifi. Can some please look at their setting in Mobile Network Settings and tell me what you have. Like what is your network mode? Access Point Names? Any help please
