Help No Mobile Network?

I recently had trouble manually switching from my Droid to my HTC Droid Eris I had to call Verizon's customer service in order to get my calls and text messages to work. I noticed after that i couldn't receive or send MMS although my text and calls worked. It also doesn't show 3G or 1X anymore and won't connect to the mobile network.

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or knows of a way to fix it?

Walk into a VZW store. If you're nice & patient. They might fix it for free.

This happened to me, and took it in to a store ... I was told that this sometimes happens after enough use and there was nothing they could do for me ... Something about small amounts of moisture ... I was due for an upgrade anyway and got a DInc2. Sorry that I didn't have a fix for you

Well, just to ask the question, is mobile networking turned on? I can't remember exactly where it is in settings, but it's somewhere in settings->wireless (from home). There is also an HTC widget that you can add that toggles mobile networking.

Wait - I just thought of another way to check! Long-press the power button and there is a toggle to turn mobile networking on and off.

Anyway, perhaps it was turned off?
