Root No more Easy MSL

Ever since kitkat was pushed to our phones, I've noticed our hidden menu has changed. (or whatever that menu is called when you dial ##3282#)

It looks the same but I am no longer able to use a msl reader app for my one click msl.
the phone restarts after 2 unsuccessful tries.

is there a way I can flash the older version back?

any help would be greatly appreciated
