Help no more updates through keis

last year i debranded my orange phone to get rid of all the annoying bloatware using odin
keis just says now cant update version of software
so i take it ill have to do the same thing again to get ics
am i right
if so i might as well take the plunge now
has any1 done this yet is so can they point me in the right direction

I never got Kies to work on my O2 phone, so i used Odin and not had any issues yet. How to install Ice Cream Sandwich on your Samsung Galaxy S2 | Reviews | CNET UK This was very easy to do. And only took about 15 minutes to back up all my stuff and do a factory reset first.

if you have already flashed the firmware then you might as well do it again for ics.

As of now there is still no update available via kies or ota for the international versions. The network (3) beat samsung to it.

My Kies keep asking to download everytime I try to open the programme on Windows 7. Then nothing happens. The download repeats again the next time. Problem didn't get resolved even after uninstalling and reinstalling latest version. I've given up on Kies. It could be a deal breaker when I decide to upgrade my phone in the future.
