Root No p36image, but nandroid backup?

Hey fellow techies,

So I can build my own quadcore, but having trouble with a "simple phone". Kidding. I apologize in advance if I posted in the wrong area.

Here's my dilemma:

I used a mikG's rom for a long time, but started having problems when I battery pull to swap batteries, it would just freeze when it would reboot. After flashing an image to where it worked, it worked great for a few months. Then it just bricked somehow. So from my limited memory of all this, I went into Hboot and flashed a new image from zip, Classic Sense. I then did a nandroid backup.

Everything was running good the last few days, but when I do a battery pull and go into hboot, it still can't find p36img.

I'm so confused. At this point, Sense is great, but when I did my nandroid restore, I have no Google play, none of my apps, etc. I can get the apk for play store which would solve everything, but then I have no file browser to install it to get my apps (which are on Titanium backup).

I'm kind of stuck in a feedback loop, and I know I'm all over the place. Esentially, what is going on with p36img and why can't Hboot find it? Is something wrong with the SD card? Do I need to reformat it? My phone is still rooted and unlocked, just something is wrong with the image in hboot, but I can still use my phone, just no app store and none of my apps.

I've tried using SDK, but can't install apks from there? I need a more secondary level of tech help here. I'll be up for a while, please chime in and any info I haven't provided, let me know. I just want my phone to not need to restore after a battery pull.
