Root No pic messages on Blacksource droid theory over WIFI?

running droid theorys blacksource(most current i think). his site seems to be down.

anyway, when im on WIFI and receive a picture message, it doesnt download the pic automatically. a gray box pops up that says "download". it will not DL unless i am off wifi and switch to 3g/4g. kind of annoying to switch it every time.

has anyone experienced this?

That's strange. Most ROMs will auto switch to 3G/4G when on WiFi, download the pic, then switch back to WiFi. I've always had to hit the download box to initiate the download, though.

mms picture messages are only sent over 3G/4G data connections. But as WormDoes pointed out, once you hit the "download" box 3G/4G data should pop on for a second, then switch back over to WiFi.

I'm not to familiar with that particular rom, so I couldn't begin to assume it's a bad flash, a random bug, or a known bug with a work around.

Try making a nandroid, do a full wipe and reflash, then send yourself a pic while on WiFi to see if it works as WormDoes described. If it doesn't, I think it's safe to say it's a bug in the rom. Wish I could be more helpfull, but I couldn't find anything referencing this issue other than this thread.
