Help No read and write access after root

ILoveMyDroid

I just rooted my HTC Thunderbolt and followed a tutorial from android central on how to remove all of the 'bloatware' or 'crapware' apps that came with the phone. i downloaded root explorer and followed their instructions on how to move the apps into a trash folder yet whenever i try to click the 'Move' button on root explorer, a popup shows up saying, "files can not be transferred because you don't have access to read and write these files." or something along those lines. do i have something wrong with the permissions for superuser? superuser says it has already granted root access for root explorer but i dont know what else to do. ideas?

Have you activated read/write when you open root explorer? Look in the upper left corner and click the button. This should make it say Mounted as r/w

Check the pic I attached.

You lost super user access. If you ADB to your phone and access shell then run su what happens? You may need to repush busybox. Did you install superuser from the market after rooting?

I'm in the following IRC chat (XDA's IRC). Feel free to jump in there and PM me:

FOSSnet Web IRC (qwebirc)
