Help No Readers Hub?

My Galaxy Note 8 came without the Readers Hub and without the Learning Hub. They aren't available on the Samsung apps site. But they are in the reviews. Anybody have this in the U.S.?

You don't have it because it wasn't preinstalled on the US version.

In Canada, my Note 2 and Note 10.1 only have Learning Hub. No Reader Hub. I think the original Note had Reader Hub, but no Learning Hub. So it looks like it's device and region specific.

Do you have a 'Media Hub'? Maybe it's lumped into one hub in the US?

Edit: even if not preinstalled, it can still be found in the Samsung App store.

Edit 2: I'll try to extract the apk from the Samsung app store using Kies and post it here.

No, no Media Hub, and Music Hub seems to be only music. U.S. website shouldn't include what they aren't offering. I wasted a lot of time on this including downloading a version that crashed everytime.

Still, I very much like the Note 8.

Sorry for the delay, I got both Learning Hub APK files from the Samsung App Store. Hopefully it will work with your Note 8.0. I would try the Note 2 version first as that is the Android Phone version (top notification bar pull down and interface) which looks like what the Note 8.0 uses.

I posted the Note 10.1 version just in case it might have a chance of working. But that is the Android Tablet version with the bottom row of soft keys, multi window and notification bar integration.

Here are the APK files:
Note 2 Learning Hub APK
Note 10.1 Learning Hub APK

Hah! They both load, then announce that Learning Hub is not available in my country, and that Learning Hub will now close, and then closes. Both do this.

Thanks, though. I appreciate the effort.

Sorry to hear that. It looks like it is region specific and you'll have to wait until Samsung can sort it out. Maybe copyrights and red tape getting in the way.

As a side note, it looks like it's available in Canada for the Note 8.0.

I'm starting to feel this is the one thing Samsung does that gets totally under my skin.

When they *introduce* a new device it's done so complete with all the bells & whistles.
When they *launch* this new device, one country gets the bells; the other gets the whistles.

We never get the introduced completed package in all it's glory.
My interest in the Note 8 was fully sparked due to it's *phone* capabilities yet all we get is the wifi version.

Yeah, definitely region specific. The Note 8.0 display model I played with had learning hub preinstalled on it. Loaded fine with no issues too.
