No ring when connected to bluetooth

Sorry if this has been posted before but i cant find a solution anywhere, I have the s4 when i have my bluetooth headset connected and someone rings me the phone remains silent and the headset gets a ping pong tone, this is too quiet to hear when im driving. Does anyone know how to fix this.

Sorry, but my phone rings with the bluetooth headset engaged, both the phone and a ring in the headset. I'm not aware of any relevant settings.

Mine does the same thing with a Plantronics Legend headset.

Have you tried to un-check "use for media audio" in Bluetooth settings for the headset? For me this keeps the phone sounds\alerts at the phone and not sent to the headset.
