Help No Roaming in US

No roaming in USA, I had the same experience. I spoke with Telus Techsupport last week concerning "No roaming in USA". 4 days after having the The Telus Shine (LGC710H). They all including Futureshop said that it should roam in USA, because no one complained about it. Off course, I did not want to hear that.
I think the software updated I did may have resolved the roaming issue plus other services such as celendar, outlook corp. email etc...
Software update released note by LG:
"If you upgrade your phones software new services, such as roaming are added.
In addition existing product functions and programmes supporting the mobile
communication system are modified."

I have not had a chance to go back down to USA to test the roaming yet, if anyone of you have new "Roaming" result after software upgrade, please provide update
Since LG indicated that "Roaming are added", I am assumming this issue is resolved.

Latest Update: base on 2 Telus Shines+: 1 with BELL and the other with Telus. Both units have the same software/firmware loaded and unlocked
We were in US_Las Vegas for a few days last week
#1 The Telus Shine+ with "BELL Network" roamed to and worked fine with AT&T network for voice and text with no problem at all
#2 The Telus Shine+ with "Telus network" had be completely reseted including removed / reinstalled the SIM to be able to roamed to and worked with AT&T network. It worked for awhile with voice & text and ramdomly through the day got kicked-out of AT&T network and we had to go through the resetting processed indicated again and again....
I swaped-out the SIM between unit#1 and unit#2 and the same problem followed the (Telus) SIM, and it was obvious that Telus Network/company had issue with roaming to AT&T Network in USA. I was told that Telus does not have the official nettwork roaming agreement with some Cell network companies in USA and wondering if this is the case...

I haven't been to the US but I went to Cuba this month with my shine plus and roaming worked perfect on the Cubacel 2g gsm network, after i manually selected the network in the settings. I couldn't believe it, I had full bars on this remote island of Cuba, where we didn't expect any cell service.
I also haven't updated my firmware, I checked and it definitely has the older version.

I just completed this past week a trip whick took me to Buffalo, South and North Carolina and New York where roaming worked very well on my LG Shine Plus which had been updated to software version LG-C710h-V10d. I used T-Mobile connection which was very good. The only problem I had was in North Carolina where AT&T was the only service offered and it was terrible because it kept dropping the signal. Prior to leaving for my trip I contacted Telus and purchased a $20 roaming package which reduced the roaming rate from a $1.45 to $0.25 per minute.
