Actually only the international version is quad core, US version is dual core.
They haven't announced the note 2 in the us so who knows.
And actually I don't think the processor is known yet on the international
Edit: it has a quad core exynos but it also has lte listed?
This is one of the reasons I just ordered the 32GB version from T-Mobile. No way will I not get this phone now, it arrives Friday!
man I was at target today and compared my esteem to a galaxy s3 and the size difference was not much, the s3 was a lil bigger but that dam galaxy note was ****ing huge lol.
It's a little taller and wider (due to the larger screen) but it is over 25% thinner.
There's really no difference in speed and the S4 is a better processor.

Yes, however Apple filed a petition with the court to have the Galaxy S3 banned in the US since they won that patent case against Samsung. In other words it may vanish from store shelves here in the US.

Yes...I know this already. Then Samusung will file an appeal and this thing will drag on for years.
Why is it in countries outside the U.S. Apple has lost some of it's patent infringement claims??
They will still sell and ARE still selling the S3 regardless..there will be a monetary settlement ( not the 1 billion ) , but cooler heads will prevail.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for the S3. Apple is pushing hard for this ban. F**k apple, I am never buying another apple product.

That is exactly why Apple is doing this! They are worried they won't be able to hog all of the cell phone sales for themselves.
They already have 100 billion sitting in the bank... how much more do they need ... greedy mother f'ers!!
They're just mad that the S3 is selling so well ... pure n simple!

Negative next month
I usually buy food after work, but I read this during work, and decided to not buy anything afterwards. I'm saving every penny I can so I can get it. Especially if its really "next month". Might end up selling the Esteem that way I won't be paying the whole thing alone.. But I don't want to get rid of it :'(

Would Metro's S3 be able to turn into a global phone after a software update or hack like the verizon one? (I know verizon S3 is still not global but i guess they will push a software update later to make it global, but will metro's S3 be able to do it?)

The hearing for the newer Samsung devices isn't until December and we won't get a judgment from that for several months. By the time the court rules to have these devices banned the s4 will be out.

I'll most likely get the blue 1, but I'll have to look at cases and see how it looks. Don't want white, looks too much like an iPhone to me, but it may go good with a black otterbox
The white one goes great with the "Glacier" Otterbox Defender as you can see by looking at mine. And it looks nothing like an iPhone.

So ladies and gentlemen of the esteem forums, I must say that paranoidrom for the s3 is amazing..and Google voice is just amazing and is way better than s voice that comes stock on the s3. This ROM basically turns your s3 into a tablet...very nice. Look up paranoid ROM for galaxy s3 on you tube.
