Help No Scrolling Wallpaper, But Has Grid

To bring you guys up to speed:
I have the HOX+, coming from the iPhone 3GS, and had the HOX for a couple weeks before buying the HOX+.

One thing I immediately noticed when I got the HOX+ the day of its release here in the states was that they removed the scrolling wallpapers. This was probably one of my favorite little extra features that the HOX had. Now with the HOX+ when I go to set a homescreen wallpaper I have noticed that the stupid grid is there still and you cannot just set the damn full image without cropping the image (see attached image taken from my HOX+). Is there some secret way to change this crap?

I brought the issue to HTC's attention months ago by talking with their tech support team and they said, that this was the first they have heard about it and that they would pass it off to the dev team, but months later without any update since day of launch, and I'm really starting to get urked by HTC, and their constant releasing of new phones over supporting their former releases. It's BS really.

Wallpaper Wizardri will do take care of that for you. It is much better at selecting wallpapers than the stock app & has better crop actions including no crop.

Thanks. Seems to fix the crop issue, but still no scrolling WP, right?
After playing around with this for a little while, I'm noticing that pictures won't fit the entire screen and stop halfway into the on-screen dock buttons when being set from the app, but if I set wallpapers directly from my gallery the app apparently corrects that stupid "+" grid issue! :D
But sadly still no scrolling WPs. :(

No you don't need to be rooted. When you press the home key it will ask you which home launch you want to use & whether you want it to be the default.

Be aware that sense widgets only work on the sense launcher.

I hace noticed this issue with my HTC I am running a rooted evo design 4g on boost (should be getting HOX+ by the end of the month) and the grid should expand if you touch it just the right way in just the right part of the line you should be able to expand the grid/borders to 95% of the way to the edges.
