I have had my desire for about 6 months. It worked perfect until about a month ago, then I was either digital roaming or no service about 95 percent of the time for about 5 days. Then it went back to working perfectly..now it is doing it again. Anyone had this happen? Any fix? It is frustrating to have a phone and not be able to use internet, text or call from it..arg.

Sounds like a network problem, rather than a phone problem.
I had this same problem with my network recently (Three). Ironically the coverage at my house went down completely on the same day I'd recommended Three on a topic on this board lol. They'd apparently done some maintenance work to a local mast which messed up my coverage but they got it sorted quickly and I know have full coverage at home again.
