Help No service, whatsoever

I'd hate to make a new thread if there already is one similar to this, but I've run out of options. Earlier this week, I flashed PlayfulGods cm10 rom to see if I could get the RIL working with no luck. So I decided to head back to my previous rom (No.2 by LDrifta) and since then, there is no connection at all. Not just 4g or internet service, and it's not just mobile service either, but there is an "X" for the signal. I tried a hard reset, a factory reset, I even flashed it to a new install of the no.2 rom, and nothing yet. Under the phone info, all information is showing up as unknown (MIN, PRL, PHONE #, network type).

Edit: Changed network type under debug settings to CDMA/LTE/EvDO auto, got the 4g with full connection but no bars, went to set it to LTE only to see if that would do anything, and now it's on no service mode. Should I update the PRLs?

Glad you posted a thread about this error now i see you new to the forums but would like to ask are you flasher friendly. :what: i know u asking what the heck is he talking about . Well have u ever rooted or worked on any device that a custom rom was needed . And u seen the small print that say . NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING YOU DO TO THE DEVICE. OR AS ON PG SAY NOT FOR EVERYDAY USE.

Now lets get you up and running again. Now since u changed all the settings and ril to the custom rom of cm10. And the phone never worked well with the old . Now you need to use that thing that was asked to make before u do anything to the device. Its a six letter word and it begin with the letter B.:banghead: oh yes a backup of the zvd u was running . Now if u flashed back to the zvd .and it don't work . 3 Things u can do . They go like this . You can downgrade and upgrade to the zvb and use the lg tool to get the device back to the zvd and reroot . But i would advise you to let the phone run on zvd a few days before rooting . Just so anything you change will change and the lg device will run smooth again. I say 48-72 hours. .:thumbup: and when you up and running again report back and hit the thank you .

Wow, thanks for the quick reply XD I was expecting a day or two of waiting. Well yes, I am flash friendly, I used a backup on my phone and that's what seemed to cause the problem. using the *#*#4636#*#* i found out that the radio was set to gsm mode instead of the CDMA/LTE/evDo setting. fixed that! yay for me! But now I'm faced with another issue: I have internet service, 4g runs just fine, except i have no mobile service now. It's not in test mode, apparent;y, because # doesn't bring up the hidden menu. All the other synptoms point to it being on test mode though. I've tried *228 but it doesn't do anything, it just says call customer support.

Yo, I've got the same prob. But my situation is different. I was running a hybrid with part Doverted and #2 and all was well until today when my phone froze. I was running wireless tether for my girl and PDANet for my laptop. I had to do a hard reboot and when it came back I had no 4G or network. I have done a restore back to a full #2 backed up 2 weeks ago and I still get nothing. What about the settings with cdma or that *##* stuff?? Or is my only option to do a restore to ZVD from ZVB??? Give me the low down dude

Woah dude, that's basically what happened to me, i tried restoring a #2 backup and BAM - no service or 4g. What you can try (to at least get your 4g back) is dail *#*#4636#*#* - go into phone information - check at the bottom and make sure the drop down is at CDMA/LTE/EvDO Auto. after I did that, I rebooted my phone, and it only got 4g, no mobile though.
Anyways, after all that, I went and unrooted my phone and put it back to ZVD (which apparently is wrong because the other guy suggested zvb) and still nothing. At this point, I'm either going to try for the zvb flash, or just buy the Spirit 4g.

THANK YOU! you were right, I just forgot to put it back to ZVD I understand how ROMs work, I just got careless about the RIL. Thank you again for the help!

No luck I went through the downgrade, upgrade, and reset with nothing to show. I guess this is it!
